The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced part time Maintenance Lead who will oversee the maintenance and reliability of all plant and equipment on site including buildings and building services for our new Avondale manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Lead will be part of the site leadership team and will therefore hold joint responsibility for safe operation of the site.

 

The Accountabilities

  • Identifying and leading capital projects for the Avondale site, including raising Capex documentation for approval
  • Refine and deliver the preventative/corrective maintenance plan to maximise uptime and maintain equipment, buildings, and services to the relevant legislative requirements
  • Manage the communication of projects, improvements, maintenance across the wider team.
  • As a member of SLT (Site Leadership Team), the Maintenance Lead will participate in overall site management, safety and participate and support operational excellence.
  • Manage contractors including completion of permits to work and reviewing job methods.

  •  Relevant trade or engineering qualification
  •  Demonstrated professional technical capability in mechanical or electrical areas
  •  Ability to solve complex problems and work independently and with a team
  •  An understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal), strong reliability and flexibility
