With this, the opportunity to join our iconic brand as a Territory Manager has become available! The Territory Manager’s role is a key Field Sales role and has responsibility for the management of a territory of independently owned stores which includes, New World, and head office managed Progressive outlets.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Delivering customer promotional objectives including monthly and quarterly forward planning of promotional activity by outlet to align with guidelines set by the Key Account Managers. Negotiation of planned activity with Grocery Managers, implementing promotional activity, tracking promotional performance & implementing contingency plans where necessary
  • With-in New World outlets responsibilities are, compliance to all NWNI Head office confirmed compulsory activity in regard to displays, securing upgrades and discretionary displays to planned promotional activity, negotiating off-site location of strategic activity, shelf management, rotation of product and any other requirements of the business.
  • With-in Progressive outlets responsibilities are, compliance to all confirmed activity in regard to display, securing upgrades to confirmed promotional activity, negotiating off-site location of strategic activity, shelf management, rotation of product and any other requirements of the business.
  • Negotiation of distribution of NPD within set speed to market timeframe and agreed customer core range by individual outlet. 
  • Negotiation of shelf layout to company strategic guidelines by individual outlet.
  • Responsible for management of the customer relationship across each individual outlet across all functional areas including store owner and manager.
  • Key Team Leadership & People Development responsibilities include recruitment, coaching & development of a team of full time and part time Merchandisers, and adherence to the performance management process.

We are looking for a person who is confident and has desire to progress their career. A track record in sales is desirable, along with experience in, or knowledge of the FMCG industry. Tertiary qualifications are highly regarded, but not essential.
