The Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in one of Australia's most iconic businesses as an Electrician in our Huntingwood Facility.

Successful applicant will have previous electrical experience with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to food and workplace safety. You will be joining a hardworking team that are committed to the focus on the continual growth of the business, which services the manufacturing industry.

This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems.

The Accountabilities:

•             Preventative maintenance of manufacturing and packaging machinery;

•             Diagnostics and fault finding:

•             Following planned maintenance schedules and repairs

•             Supporting factory start-ups and breakdowns.

•             Working on afternoon shift Monday - Friday with overtime when applicable

The Ingredients for Success: 

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;

•             Recognised Electrical trade and post trade qualifications

•             Ability to work on an afternoon shift roster (14:45 to 23:00)

•             Diagnostics and fault finding

•             Leading hand experience is preferred

•             Supporting factory start-ups and breakdowns

•             Experience with high-speed packaging / processing machinery;

•             Effective communication skills and customer focus;

•             Capability to organise daily tasks with minimum supervision;

•             Knowledge of LOTO, Risk Assessments, JSAs, PPE and other OH&S requirements;

•             PLC knowledge preferably Allen Bradley
