We are calling on all skilled Food Safety professionals or Continuous Improvement process leads who have proven experience in food manufacturing to come join our Huntingwood team! Within this role you will be required to think outside the box and challenge our ways of working. You will partner with many stakeholders to implement standardised cleaning methods, purposefully direct capital investment and drive sustainable improvement.  Your primary objective will be the assurance of product safety through leadership in Good Manufacturing Practices. What does your next role look like?

 

  • Lead initiatives to improve Good Manufacturing Practices and reduce food safety risks
  • Utilise capital investment to change the way we clean – concept design, through Capex development, contractor management, installation and training
  • Ensure effective implementation of process changes/ equipment modification by documenting standard methods, providing operator support and monitoring compliance
  • Monitor cleaning effectiveness and allergen control
  • Manage contractors to ensure agreed targets and OH&S requirements are met

Ask yourself, do you have:

 

  • Tertiary degree in Food Science, Science, Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in a hygiene focused role within the food manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of food safety and its practical application
  • A proven ability to build relationships, influence and motivate
  • Experience supporting and leading change through project and/or contractor management
