A wonderful career opportunity is available for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to lead a team of 11 people; based in Marleston.  You will be focused on driving new levels of engineering performance and managing the delivery of trade services at our Marleston site.



  • Leadership, development and coaching of the reliability team
  • Implementation and application of local and national maintenance systems to achieve and maintain world class plant reliability within budget and operational constraints
  • Analysis, prioritising and scheduling of reliability activities in close liaison with manufacturing
  • Troubleshooting and provision of guidance to teams and individuals
  • Manage shift handovers through writing effective shift reports for work completed by the team
  • Ensuring all procedures such as OH&S and GMP are adhered to at all times
  • Work closely with the broader team including manufacturing, quality, engineering stores, maintenance planning and building services to improve reliability and drive improvements
  • Manage outside contractors on site for engineering services


Ingredients for Success

  • Trade background and a proven experience working in a similar role.
  • Ideally, you will have a leadership background in engineering or manufacturing preferably in consumer goods
  • The ability to manage high volume of maintenance jobs.
  • You will be persistent and driven with the ability to manage high pressure situations.
  • Sound understanding of process equipment and engineering principles and be able to analyse complex equipment and processes problems.
  • You will be able to manage and coach people as well as cross-functional teams, and effectively performance manage teams and individuals. 
  • Intermediate computer systems skills are required, exposure to SAP for purchasing and maintenance management will be beneficial.
  • This role requires the incumbent to work a 7-day fortnight and 12-hour day shifts (6am to 6pm).
