The Opportunity

The Arnott’s, Marleston site is experiencing significant capital investment with the recent introduction of two new production lines. Continued investment is planned over the coming years to expand and automate the existing manufacturing capabilities of the site.

Reporting to the Capital Manager you will have the opportunity to be part of and contribute to the continued growth of the Arnott’s business through your experience and knowledge in the electrical engineering and project space.

 

The Accountabilities

  • Scope up project work
  • Develop functional descriptions and specifications for quotation purposes
  • Write capex documents for submission & develop justifications for capex submissions
  • Execute project work, manage internal resources, manage external contractors, and control budgets
  • Commissioning of equipment

 

The Ingredients for Success

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering (strong preference for Electrical)
  • A minimum of 5 years project engineering experience
  • Experience in budgeting, capital planning, cost estimating and capex preparation
  • A knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s
  • The ability to communicate with different groups outside of the engineering team
