Expression of Interest – Team Leader – Night Shift

 

As a Team Leader, you will report to the Production Coordinator and be responsible for the management, coordination and leadership of a work team demonstrating the company values, occupational health & safety, quality, training and skills development, operational efficiency, productivity and labour coordination.  You will be required to work a night shift roster working from 10pm to 6am.

 

The ingredients to be successful:

  • Strong safety focus as demonstrated by being a role model for site safety standards.
  • Experience in (and/or commitment to) leading a team with ability and desire to develop leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (GMP, OHS, and Food Safety)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels both verbally and written
  • Complex problem-solving ability using root cause analysis to identify process issues and improvement opportunities and implement sustainable change
  • Knowledge and experience within manufacturing and supply chain industries
  • Flexibility with work hours – may be required to work across shifts or work overtime
  • Demonstrated passion for living into our values

 

Your Requirements:

  • Drive behaviours aligned to The Arnotts values
  • Work with team members and other departments to achieve shift production plan while meeting safety, quality and environmental targets
  • Monitor production and quality trends to ensure KPIs are met
  • Help solve immediate online production problems
  • Assist New Product Development and support production trials
  • Support Daily Direction Setting meetings for your shift
  • Overall management of employees’ time keeping and leave provisions
  • Engage, develop and empower Level 5s on night shift
  • Develop labour rosters and training plans
  • Drive strong attendance and support engagement strategies
