An exciting career opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our team; based in North Strathfield. Reporting into Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Marketing & Selling expense budgets, standard weekly and monthly P&L reporting and general support regarding ad hoc financial analysis.

 

You will also be responsible for the management of the Marketing budget from end to end across both the Biscuits and Campbell’s businesses. You will enjoy business partnering with the Marketing team and Sales team to set detailed annual targets and management of changes via periodic projections throughout the year. Ensuring adherence to processes and targets, accurate reporting and analysis and communication are critical to success in the role.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Business partnering with the marketing function for budget setting, management and in month variance analysis. Working with procedures and controls of the business, this will form the majority of the role.
  • Business partnering with the Sales function setting and managing their expense budget
  • Responsible for Royalty accounting
  • Periodical and adhoc analysis of financial results with clear articulation of key drivers.

 

Ingredients for Success

 

  • CPA/CA/CIMA (qualified or studying towards)
  • The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a similar role, a strong sense of ownership & responsibility, an aptitude for systems and experience using SAP. 
  • In addition will you be a proactive self-starter with problem solving & investigation skills, enjoys working cross-functionally and comfortable operating as part of a broad team.
  • You will also have highly effective time management skills, is passionate about the food industry and has experience in improving reporting systems and processes.
