The Business Insights Specialist at The Arnott's Group is accountable for generating, curating and presenting insights to influence decisions and inform business strategies. Reporting into the Director of Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for analysing a diverse set of data and key performance metrics from our functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, P&C and Transformation, to build and deploy insightful and meaningful dashboards and reports for the functional leaders and executive team.

To succeed, the role requires dynamic technical and strategic thinking ability, using strong problem-solving skills and advanced analytical techniques to find world-class solutions. Ultimately the role aims at enhanced business strategy for sustainable business performance.

 

Ingredients for Success

·         Data Analytics - Deep operational, financial and transaction analytics experience with complex data sets.

·         Strategic Interpretation - Ability to translate business problems into insights, through dashboards & reports (standardization & customisation).

·         Contributing to a successful team - Contribute and demonstrate leadership in an industry leading Data & Analytics team.

·         Building Partnership & Strategic working relationships with internal stakeholders.

·         Develop interdependent relationships with cross department stakeholders and the leadership team to ensure collaborative data led decision making, as well as strong working relationships with internal stakeholders within the customer team.

 

About you

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building reports within Power BI

·         Experience with deep operational, financial and transaction analytics.

·         An ability to translate complex data insights into realistic commercial initiatives and profitable growth opportunities, ensuring return on data & analytics investment is maximized.

·         Ability to use innovative approaches to analytics where necessary to overcome data limitations.

·         Experience presenting to and influencing senior management to implement recommended reporting templates and standardization initiatives.

 

Qualifications, Licenses and Accreditations

·         Business, Math's, or Information Systems degree is a plus

·         Experience with Transactional, Scan and Panel/Loyalty data essential

·         SQL essential, Alteryx is a plus

·         Tableau or Power BI essential
