Seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of PR & Digital who will report directly into the Chief Marketing Officer for a 12 month MAT leave cover.

 

Accountabilities

 

The role is responsible for multiple discipline delivery, including:

 

  1. Brand PR and Crisis Management
    • Earned communications strategy and campaign PR delivery
    • Brand spokesperson and marketing team advisory/liaison

 

  1. Digital Marketing, Social Media & Consumer experience
    • Delivery of overarching digital marketing & first party data strategy
    • Website and owned channel in-house content delivery

 

  1. Agency engagement and delivery
    • Marketing communications budget and timeline ownership
    • Agency relationship management with top to top engagement
    • Contractual renewal, negotiations and delivery

 

  1. Media buy and portfolio planning management
    • Overview of marketing media portfolio strategy and execution
    • Understanding and analytical approach to media ROI

 

  1. Business leadership
    • Driving a growth strategy with best-in-class delivery
    • Senior leadership responsibility and team development

 

Ingredients for Success

 

  • 10+ years’ experience in PR communications.
  • 5+ years working in Digital & Social Media.
  • Previous experience at a leadership level.
  • Experience managing agency relations preferred.
  • Sound understanding of through the line marketing communications processes and disciplines.
  • Highly experienced in writing and copy editing.
  • Start-up mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, and balance a high rotation workload.
  • Calm and measured approach.
