Integrated Communications Manager

A great opportunity is available for an experienced ANZ Integrated Marketing Communications Manager to join our team on a 9-month parental leave cover.  You will be responsible for managing and overseeing media planning and execution of all brand-led paid media activities for The Arnott’s Group, owning annual media strategies and plans through collaboration with product, brand and marketing teams. You will enjoying being the primary interface between the brand team, media agencies, and the in-house digital team; with responsibility for all media activities across offline and digital; and accountable for managing the annual brand spends as well as driving long-term deals and operating efficiencies.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage not just a portfolio media calendar, updated monthly but also a broader integrated marketing communications (IMC) calendar, tracking committed and uncommitted activity.
  • Oversee the full marketing budget, providing a monthly update to the leadership team of spend vs. Forecast.
  • Drive innovation and industry-leading media activations.
  • Work in conjunction with the brand team and in-house digital team, to ensure a fully integrated marketing campaign approach, consistency in messaging and creative execution across shared projects.
  • Responsible for media operations processes, analysis, creation and maintenance of purchase orders, actualization of monthly media flowcharts, and management of monthly media billing reconciliation.
  • Manage the agency and ensure that relevant KPIs are delivered on time and in full, with any variances to be proactively identified and managed.
  • Serve as key point of contact with Marketing Finance, ensuring accurate monthly spend accruals and forecasting

 

Ingredients for Success:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role and has familiarity with the ANZ media landscape.  In addition, you will have  a deep understanding of integrated marketing experience and strong digital expertise (advertising, social in particular), a solid understanding of PR, eCom and shopper marketing, as well as SEO, SEM, website, CRM and Google Analytics, a keen eye for detail and a strong bias for action.

You can also operate autonomously and succeed in an ever-changing environment and you have previous experience working in a matrixed organization.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Experience managing marketing financial processes.
  • Media management, including campaign management, analysis, optimizations, and reporting.
  • Flexible, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with both online and offline media channels.
  • Hands-on use of all digital media platforms & channels.
