We are looking for a People & Culture Shared Services Leader who is passionate about the HR industry and has strong change management experience.  You will join a high performing team and help drive high-impact strategies to influence the growth landscape and aspirations for The Arnott’s Group. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are driven by finding solutions and action orientated.

 

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the People & Culture Shared Services Lead plays an important & varied role in delivering value to the business. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Responsibilities

Manage the day to day P&C operations

  • Provide strong people leadership to the team of experienced professionals.
  • Manage vendors and service providers to ensure SLA delivery. 
  • Leverage SuccessFactors, PowerBI and other tools to
    • Convert data into people-related insights.
    • Deliver key quarterly reports detailing People Operations metrics.
  • Review, interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and Arnott’s Group procedures.
  • Collaborate across the P&C ANZ team to ensure the delivery of a leading employee experience.
  • Ensure processes are documented and kept up to date.
  • Lead and provide visa and sponsorship guidance.

Transform our processes, systems & the employee experience

  • Partner with IT colleagues & external vendors to enhance our technology & deliver the SuccessFactors technology roadmap. 
  • Partner with the Payroll Strategic Program, Governance & Compliance Lead to evolve ANZ payroll function in line with global approach. 
  • Work to streamline and improve onboarding/off-boarding processes, HR data management and reporting.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of people policies, systems, and procedures to reflect market best practice and legislative requirements.

 

The ingredients to be successful:

  • 10+ years of experience in progressive Human Resources positions, with a depth of experience in HR operations (including payroll).
  • People leadership experience.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, Kronos, Preceda highly regarded.
  • Comfortable moving from the transactional to the strategic.
  • Resilience, agility, collaboration, priority setting and change orientation (challenging the status quo is a must).
  • Knowledge of Australian HR/labour laws & modern awards (NZ knowledge highly regarded).
  • Good working knowledge of payroll and its complexities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing sensitive and complex people related matters.
  • A successful track record in change management.
