HR Systems Lead

The Arnott’s Group is an iconic Australian multi-branded food powerhouse, who have pioneered the FMCG market, both locally and globally. We are currently undergoing an extraordinary period of transformation as we divest from our previous identity as Campbell Arnott’s into The Arnott’s Group.

 

With this, the opportunity has become available to bring on board a People and Technology Lead to manage the migration of our HRIS system and the continuous improvement planning/optimisation of this system for all users.

 

A phased implementation of our new HRIS SuccessFactors is underway, with core functionality firing and both Recruitment and Onboarding modules live.

 

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of HRIS practitioners to effectively manage and continuously improve the new system.
  • Ensure our People systems and processes are established in line with compliance requirements with company policies, government regulations and SOX compliance.
  • Partner with P&C and leaders to ensure the design and development of upgrade functionality to meet the needs of the business.
  • Work effectively with IT team and external partners, leveraging expertise of others to contribute to continuous process improvements through use of best practice solutions.
  • Manage system upgrades and testing processes. Identify opportunities for system and process optimization to drive operational effectiveness.

 

Ingredients for Success

  • Understanding of systems, standards and practices across various technology platforms – SAP SuccessFactors experience in particular is strongly preferred.
  • HRIS functional knowledge and experience e.g. security administration, system integrations 
  • HR technology project management experience
  • Team leadership
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and expectations
  • Experience working in a fast paced, agile and ambiguous environment where a very pragmatic approach is required (i.e. – 80% is good enough)
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and finding a better way to get things done
  • End-to-end process focus and ability to factor in the bigger picture with upstream/ downstream impacts.
