Job Description:

 

The Arnott's Group (TAG) is an iconic Australian powerhouse brand, who are pioneers in the FMCG market, both locally and globally. Undergoing a period of extensive brand growth and strategic evolution, this is an exciting opportunity to help own and shape their iconic legacy into the future.

Supply Planners are responsible for the planning of production and deployment of stock for all of Arnott’s Group facilities around Australia and New Zealand and some imports from overseas.

 

This role acts as the major conduit between Sales and Marketing and the manufacturing facilities, balancing the needs of all parties to drive optimal outcomes for the business.

 

Supply Planners monitor and report on the performance of the sites to feed the IBP process with insights into how effectively the network is executing the plans put in place to support demand.

 

An important function of this role is to maintain systems and undertake analysis in order to identify root causes of issues so that actionable recommendations can be made.

 

About the role:

  • Responsible for product availability and inventory deployment across the network
  • Deliver to agreed customer service level targets whilst optimising inventory
  • Responsible for capacity planning near term (12 weeks) and longer term (3 years) and reporting opportunities or constraints
  • Manage product lifecycle to support stock availability for new product introductions and manage withdrawal of discontinued products
  • Provides input into the IBP cycle and annual plans
  • Stock low/critical and aged stock reporting and inventory management

 

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply management.  FMCG experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience using SAP
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the business
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to build rapport and manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
