About the Role: 

We are seeking a Technology Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. In this hands-on position, you will collaborate with both business and technology stakeholders to understand, evaluate, and document both technical and non-technical requirements while effectively managing demand. This standalone role within our Digital and Tech team will allow you to lead the development of essential documentation and contribute to innovative technology solutions that not only meet our objectives but also ensure seamless integration across our suite of digital and technology applications.

What your days looks like:  

• Capture, analyse, and thoroughly document business requirements, using process mapping and analysis to drive transformation towards the future (TO-BE) state. Ensure objectives are clear, actionable, and effectively prioritized, maintaining a well-organized demand backlog for efficient triage. 

• Work closely with the Digital Transformation Manager and key stakeholders to develop compelling business cases and TO-BE solutions for transformation initiatives, supporting informed decision-making. 

• Develop and demonstrate a solid understanding of systems and application architectures, assessing dependencies, potential issues, and risks during the analysis phase, backed by a strong foundation in technology principles. 

• Oversee the entire demand submission process, ensuring requests are managed within a 14-day SLA, maintaining accountability and responsiveness across project demands. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively engaging them during workshops to understand needs and challenges. Ensure transparent communication and mutual understanding through precise, comprehensive documentation. 

• Possess a strong understanding of the project lifecycle (SDLC or Agile), ensuring best practices are followed and milestones are completed on time 

The Ingredients for Success:  

• 3+ years of demonstrated success as a Technical Business Analyst within the Technology sector, showcasing an ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions effectively. 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Technology, Commercial fields, Transformation, or a related discipline, providing a solid foundation for strategic analysis and project execution. 

• Exceptional logical reasoning and solution-generation skills, adept at dissecting complex, ambiguous problems from small to large scale and developing actionable solutions. 

• Proficient in process mapping methodologies, such as LEAN and Six Sigma, and skilled at visualizing workflows to drive clarity and efficiency. Familiarity with SQL is an added advantage. 

• Skilled in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks, consistently delivering projects and deliverables within planned timelines.
