The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance & reliability manager, the Electrical and Automation supervisor is to ensure the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment to enhance production capacity. They will be responsible for maintenance initiatives, projects, strategies, targets, and KPI metrics.


The Accountabilities

  • Troubleshoot plant operational defects and provide technical direction to maintainers to resolve complex problems.
  • Ensure the proper prosecution of the PM programme and ensure that appropriate time constraints are met. 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in plant reliability, performance and changeover time reduction based on observation, experience and statistical/data review of breakdown events
  • Ensure that financial decisions are made to promote efficiency, reliability and sustainability of assets and performance of those assets.
  • Manage trades team safety including investigation and corrective action implementation.

  • Strong understanding of electrical and automation management systems
  • Previously held or currently hold an Electrical license 
  • Ability to work with a team of internal and external stakeholder
  • Must have the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, changing priorities and multiple tasks
  • Ability to coach, mentor and inspire a technical team towards achieving common goals
