The Opportunity

 

This role has been mobilised to support the acquisition and tracking of project materials, equipment and construction services and associated cost through the creation and tracking of requisitions and purchase orders within SAP and documenting the steps in the Procure to Pay life cycle for Projects at The Arnott’s Group Virginia site.

 

The Accountabilities

 

  • Timely creation and processing in the Procure to Pay cycle – ordering, receipting, following up payments, under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Managing and reporting on the timely delivery of goods to the project site, following up as required and escalating issues as required.
  • Administrative support for the project manager
  • Administrative support for the engineering team
  • Proactively maintain equipment supplier relationships and confirm that they are meeting the shipping deadlines of the project and are responsive to project timelines.

 

The Ingredients for Success

 

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

 

  • At least 2 years of experience in daily use of SAP in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, changing priorities and multiple tasks
  • Have a clear understanding of international shipping and associated logistics
  • Experience working with technical teams and be competent in use of Microsoft office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • At least 2 years of project/construction support experience or similar and be able to collate and present data
