About the Role:  

 

The Business Development Manager will focus on winning and maintaining business in the Away From Home (AFH) channel, managing the 180degrees export business across global markets (excluding Australia), and overseeing the New Zealand commercial plan for cereals and nutritious snacks through the Good Food Partners division. This role aims to capitalise on the AFH channel's growth potential to enhance sales, distribution, and brand awareness. This presents significant growth avenues for the NZ market.

What your days looks like:  

 

  • Review progress against away from home annual OKR and strategise for the upcoming two-year plan. 
  • Collaborate with the Good Food Partners team to develop and execute the cereals and nutritious snacks strategy for Foodstuffs and Woolworths. 
  • Focus on leading the 180degrees export business, assessing performance and refining the strategic plan. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovation and product development to align new ideas with strategic objectives. 
  • Tackle ad-hoc operations and logistics planning for non-core business ranges, coordinating with various teams for smooth execution. 
  • Analyse metrics and plan next steps for ongoing initiatives to wrap up the day.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to connect our capabilities with commercial opportunities. 
  • Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders including customers. 
  • Strong attention to detail especially around commercial arrangements and negotiation skills. 
  • Business degree or similar preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills – being clear, convincing and constructive. Being able to present both internally and to external customers.
