Inventory Controller

The Inventory Controller at The Arnott's Group is primarily responsible for the Vendor Replenishment (ISP) from forecasting demand uplifts, through to releasing of orders for supply from Linfox and control of the inventory activities for the business.

 

The blend of this role makes it unique and equally demanding as the ISP responsibilities require a balance of managerial maturity and negotiating skills to maintain an excellent working customer relationship. 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Daily Ordering on behalf of WWNZ

  • Review auto orders in WWNZ’s systems against WWNZ’s inventory requirements, Arnotts’ forecast, upcoming promotions and raise top ups where necessary and in a timely manner to meet daily cut off.
  • Review and follow up on open orders. Liaise with 3PL, 4PL and WWNZ’s inbound planners on rebooking where required.
  • Ensure all WWNZ’s orders are released in a timely manner.

 

WWNZ Inventory Management

  • Review Inventory holding and ensure alignment with Woolworths agreed KPI’s.
  • Review forward demand for product supply and ensure smoothing occurs across days of the week and across weeks.
  • Monitor age profile of product in Woolworths DC and highlight any upcoming issues to Logistics Manager and WWNZ Accounts Managers for action and remedy.

 

WWNZ Customer Service

  • Carry out all customer service tasks related to WWNZ including resolving delivery issues and discrepancies, raising customer credits, resolving unpaid/overdue invoices, and all other queries originated from WWNZ’s DC and Replenishment teams.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Liaise with WWNZ’s Replenishment, Category and Forecasting teams to manage service level expectations, out of stock information and delivery KPI’s.
  • Attend meetings as required to discuss forward planning and or management of issues impacting service levels and working solutions.

 

Internal Business Collaboration

  • Support and collaborate with Arnotts’ WWNZ Accounts Managers to deliver financial targets, promotional, NPD and deletion plans.
  • Provide insights into WWNZ’s analytics capabilities to support the WWNZ’s sales accounts strategy.
