About the Role:
This role is responsible for maintaining the bakery's quality assurance processes and implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency at our Avondale site. As a hands-on position, you will focus on data-driven decision-making to drive improvements in product quality, cost management, and overall business performance. You will work closely with the production team and the Quality Coordinator to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable, long-term solutions.

What your days looks like:
- Monitor and implement food safety regulations, product specifications, and quality standards throughout production.
- Conduct regular inspections of products and ingredients to ensure consistency, food safety, and quality.
- Maintain quality documentation and track performance metrics for compliance with standards.
- Investigate customer complaints related to quality and food safety, implementing corrective actions.
- Identify process optimization opportunities, develop improvement initiatives, and collect/report KPIs on quality and efficiency.
The Ingredients for Success:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Quality or Process Improvement role.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong computer literacy.
- Experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not essential.
