About the role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Woolworths NZ team. In this role you will be responsible for driving key business strategies, AOP targets, and market share growth for the Biscuits and Muesli Bars portfolios within Woolworths NZ. This role involves building strong, collaborative relationships with the WWNZ category team, while supporting the National Business Manager in areas like internal systems and number alignment. In addition to managing the Category team's buying relationships, a significant part of the role is focused on maintaining robust forecasting to ensure business objectives are met. The position also requires developing and nurturing relationships across the Woolworths NZ ecosystem, including Operations and Supply teams, and collaborating closely with internal business units (Marketing, Category, Finance, Demand Planning) to ensure strategies are customer-focused and aligned with Woolworths NZ’s goals. Strong internal and external relationship management and cross-functional engagement are critical to successfully advocate for customer needs and deliver on business expectations.

What your day looks like:
- P&L Responsibility & Financial Management: Oversee P&L for Biscuits & Muesli Bars portfolios, track business performance, and implement contingency plans as needed to ensure business success.
- Share Growth & Relationship Building: Drive share growth in line with AOP targets, while fostering strong relationships with Woolworths NZ at all levels.
- Data Analysis & Range Reviews: Analyse relevant data insights to drive mutually beneficial outcomes, and coordinate key range reviews, ensuring action-oriented results and successful implementation.
- Market Share & Strategic Planning: Monitor external market trends and challenges, align promotional volumes with Woolworths NZ, and develop structured annual plans with clear forecasting and strategic objectives.
- Customer Relationship & Business Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Woolworths NZ, ensuring adherence to grocery code principles, managing promotional systems, and positioning The Arnott’s Group as the preferred supplier.
The Ingredients for Success:
- Experience working with retailers across New Zealand and/or Australia to drive mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Proven ability to deliver results and translate commercial strategies into actionable plans.
- Flexible and agile, with the ability to drive positive outcomes in various circumstances.
- Strong communication, cross-functional management skills, and a solid understanding of systems (forecasting, trade spend management, and customer processes).
- Business degree preferred; resilient and skilled in solving challenges with win-win solutions; role requires some travel, including visits to the WWNZ office in Auckland.
