About the Role:  

 

This role supports The Arnott’s Group Treating / Savoury Business Team as a key member of the product development team. The role is an integral member of the product development team, assisting with technical work necessary to develop new product concepts and look to continuously improve the core product range.

What your days looks like:  

 

  • Support the development and commercialisation of new product development (NPD) and supply projects.
  • Design and execute experimental lab prototypes while ensuring scientific rigor in documentation.
  • Understand consumer needs and build relationships with manufacturing sites.
  • Generate prototypes, gather data, analyse findings, and present recommendations.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver results and meet project timelines.  

 

The Ingredients for Success:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field
  • Previous FMCG or food related experience advantageous
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills for continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with creativity, attention to detail, and project management capabilities
