About the Role:
We are actively seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our afternoon shift team at our state-of-the-art facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical systems and equipment. This role demands not only technical proficiency but also the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. You’ll be responsible for a range of tasks, from troubleshooting to executing planned corrective actions, along with preventive and breakdown maintenance.
We’re seeking someone who can thrive both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the reliability and continuous improvement of our automated production environment. A deep understanding of electrical principles and automated systems is essential.

What your days looks like:
- Ensure the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment and systems to support uninterrupted operations.
- Respond promptly to plant breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely resolution of electrical issues.
- Execute planned and preventive maintenance work orders to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on PLC systems to ensure smooth automation and process control.
- Generate and manage notifications for follow-up maintenance tasks and document breakdown logs in SAP for accurate tracking and future reference.
The Ingredients for Success:
- Hold a recognized Australian Electrical License, complemented by relevant post-trade qualifications.
- Possess hands-on experience with PLC systems and automated plant operations, with a focus on Allen Bradley systems.
- Familiarity with Citect systems is highly advantageous, enhancing your capacity to optimize plant performance.
- Experience working with Safety PLCs, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), and Servo Drives to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Experience with SAP is an asset, contributing to streamlined maintenance tracking and reporting.
