About the Role:  

 

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Highly Automated Huntingwood Warehouse on the Weekend Night Shift. This role will report directly to the Reliability Coordinator and will be responsible for shift coverage in a 24/7 environment, perform Scheduled Preventative Maintenance, reactive repairs and troubleshooting.

What your days look like:  

 

  • Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery.
  • Work in compliance with quality and safety systems.
  • Record maintenance carried out and corrective work in the CMMS (SAP)
  • Troubleshooting on various Warehouse equipment.
  • Liase with key stakeholders to prioritise workload.

 

 

The Ingredients for Success:  

 

  • Ability to work fixed 12-hour shift weekend roster (7pm-7am Friday to Sunday)
  • Electrical Expertise: Recognised Electrical trade qualifications and post-trade experience in an industrial electrical space.
  • Experience in dealing with maintenance and breakdowns of machinery.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practices.
  • Highly desirable skills include automation, robotics, PLC/programming experience, as well as mechanical skills; SAP and Daifuku experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to with alone or as part of an extended team.
