The Opportunity

The role will involve planning and scheduling all maintenance tasks, including break-in work, PM planning, planned rebuilds, and shutdowns. It will see you coordinating with Line Engineers and scheduling trades. Managing contractor vendors for weekend work is crucial. Responsibilities also encompass purchasing, including paying contract labour, with a strong focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient execution of planned maintenance.

 

The Accountabilities

  • Plan and schedule weekend and weekday maintenance tasks.
  • Set and achieve KPI-driven targets.
  • Manage purchase orders and reconcile contractor spending.
  • Coordinate maintenance meetings with Line Engineers.
  • Assign planned work to trades and oversee parts reservations for rebuilds

 

The Ingredients for Success 

Just like you can’t make Campbell’s Chicken Stock without chicken, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;

  • Proficient in presenting and reporting on executed planned work.
  • Skilled in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexible attitude with ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at working with stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualification with a trade background, 5+ years of experience, and expertise in SAP preventative maintenance planning; familiarity with Prometheus preferred.
