About the Role:

 

Are you a proven manufacturing leader ready to drive operational excellence? As one of our Manufacturing Managers, looking after our Chocolate Line (think all things Tim Tams and half coats!) you’ll take ownership of production performance and lead strategic initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. What your days look like:

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement using lean principles to deliver safety, quality and efficiency targets
  • Lead capacity planning and ensure resources align with production demand
  • Drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing areas
  • Coach and develop Team Leaders to build a high-performing workforce
  • Collaborate with site leadership to influence strategic decisions and operational outcomes 

 

The Ingredients for Success:

 

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;

  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in food manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
  • Expertise in production planning, safety and quality systems.
  • Strategic thinker with advanced problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of process, strong analytical skills as well as demonstrated project management and execution is critical to for this role as well as operating with a high level of energy and a sense of urgency.
  • Will require someone who can operate autonomously, however is a strong team player and able to work cross functionally i.e. strong alignment with maintenance and engineering
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Previous chocolate experience will be highly regarded
