About the Role:  
 
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Quality Leader to join our team on a 10-month fixed-term maternity leave cover. In this key role, you will lead QA support during day shift operations, ensuring all products are manufactured in full compliance with food safety and quality standards. You will drive continuous improvement across QA systems and processes, support fault finding and corrective actions, and ensure accurate and timely documentation. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with teams across Operations, Planning, Master Data, Inventory Control, Finance, and R&D to achieve shared quality goals.

What your days looks like:  
 
  • Manage daily quality activities such as production line checks, product release, rework, and incident investigations to ensure products are safe and meet quality standards.
  • Train and coach production staff and team leaders to build accountability and ensure all products and processes meet company and food safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement plans on production lines, focusing on reducing consumer complaints, improving cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring proper sanitation.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and simplifying the site’s quality management system, including audits, document control, and compliance with regulations.
  • Deliver assigned quality projects on time, manage corrective actions, support change processes, and complete investigations related to consumer complaints.
 
The Ingredients for Success:  
 
  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of quality assurance experience in food, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing industries.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, food safety programs, and auditing processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with statistical analysis skills; SAP and database knowledge is essential.
