About the Role

Step into a pivotal role at our Huntingwood site, where you’ll help safeguard the exceptional quality of our beloved biscuits. You’ll champion food safety and quality assurance, drive best‑practice improvements, and use data-led insights to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and overall business performance. Working closely with Supply Chain and broader business stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities, implement sustainable solutions, and make a real impact on our operations. Perfect for an emerging leader ready to step into a Quality Manager role, or a current Quality Manager from a smaller organisation looking to grow and take on a bigger challenge.

 

What Your Days Look Like

•             Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five

•             Drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality across the site

•             Implement site quality plans with clear goals and timelines

•             Support the broader business in delivering its food safety and quality agenda

•             Maintain and enhance legal compliance and site food safety programs

•             Champion GMP awareness and adherence

•             Investigate complaints and manage quality/food safety issues in production

•             Deliver food safety and quality training as needed

 

About You — Ingredients for Success

•             Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food Safety & Quality within FMCG

•             A collaborative leader who can influence, coach, and develop teams

•             Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills

•             Proven ability to think critically, analyse data, and translate insights into action
