About the role:


This critical role and member of the site leadership team will report to the HSE Director and will be responsible for the effective management of the HSE function at our Marleston facility.  Your passion for HSE and proven leadership ability will allow you to engage, influence and empower team members from the Site Leadership Team, to our amazing group of HSRs through to our front line operators.

What your day looks like:


• As an engaging, self-motivated HSE professional, you will be an integral part of the Site Leadership Team in assisting the business to move towards its goals
• Your passion for HSE and proven leadership ability will allow you to engage, influence and empower team   members from the Site Leadership Team
• Management of risk register on site and technical/legal recommendations to reduce risk profile year on year 

• Develop, monitor and report against the site strategic plan
• As technical advisor it is important the role remains up to date with changes in the external regulatory environment and briefs management as required on steps to bring plant in line with changes.
 
The Ingredients for Success


• A strong track record in an operational HSE leadership role with a site-based workforce
• Strong capability to influence and work with stakeholders at all levels with a focus on mentoring, coaching and empowering frontline leaders and H&S Representatives to drive HSE improvements 

•  Proven experience in growing and developing positive HSE cultures
• Experience in contractor management, permits to work and capital installations
• Strong legislative knowledge and demonstrated experience in the practical application of this legislation
