About the Role:
Ready to make a real impact where safety meets purpose? As the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor at The Arnott’s Group Marleston Factory, you’ll be the go-to person for all things health, safety, and environment. Reporting to our Health Safety and Environment Manager, you’ll lead the charge in keeping our people safe, well, and thriving. From proactive Workplace Health and Safety advice to rolling out programs that make a difference, this is your chance to shape a safer, stronger workplace — and have some fun doing it!

What your days looks like:
Health: Champion early intervention, injury management, and wellbeing programs that support our team’s health every step of the way.
Safety: Drive safety culture by empowering people to be change-makers. Keep our safety systems sharp and lead site-wide improvements.
Environment: Help deliver our Environmental Management Plan and support our sustainability goals — because the planet matters too.
HSE Systems & Support: Be the engine room for key platforms like Rapid Global, Chemwatch, and MYOSH – keeping things running smoothly and compliantly.
Training & Education: Get people safety-savvy with engaging inductions, training sessions, and emergency preparedness programs.
The Ingredients for Success:
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety (WHS), Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (Certificate IV or higher).
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a WHS advisory or officer role within a manufacturing, industrial, construction or similar high-risk environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
- Solid understanding of WHS reporting systems and incident management processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and WHS management software.
