About the Role:  

 

We are currently looking for a Production Coordinator for the afternoon shift (2pm- 10pm). As the Production Coordinator at Arnott’s, you will lead, coordinate and manage production lines and be responsible for ensuring that safety, quality and cost objectives are met, in accordance with the overall production schedule.

What your day looks like:  

 

  • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to team members, ensuring tasks are completed on time with the right skills and competencies.
  • Manage people-related tasks such as goal setting, performance appraisals, feedback, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and assessed to meet production requirements, while adhering to GMP and HACCP standards.
  • Meet KPI targets for cost, quality, service, and safety while developing labour plans to effectively utilize resources.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, safety culture promotion, and compliance with OH&S policies and regulations.

The Ingredients for Success:  

 

  • Extensive experience in operations management within an FMCG environment, managing large teams (60+ people).
  • Proven ability to oversee 24/7 operations, including multi-shift structures.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, interacting across multiple functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG equipment, safety, quality, and production processes.
  • Proficient in Continuous Improvement Tools (e.g., OEE, SMED, 5S) and possess excellent communication skills.
