About the Role :
The Team Leader plays a key role in managing day-to-day production operations, leading their shift team with a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, this role requires clear communication across all levels of the Marleston site and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Team Leader leads by example, drives team development, and ensures production targets are met through effective problem-solving, coaching, and labour coordination—while upholding company values and operational standards.

What your day looks like:
- Champion a strong safety and quality culture by ensuring compliance with OH&S and GMP standards, while coaching the team on safe work practices.
- Lead and engage the production team to build a positive, high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement and service delivery.
- Oversee daily shift planning, including labour coordination, attendance tracking, and effective communication across teams and shifts.
- Drive problem-solving initiatives by identifying process issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements.
- Monitor and manage labour costs and production schedules to meet budget targets and deliver on key performance indicators.
The Ingredients for Success:
- Proven ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and build a strong, collaborative culture.
- Strong focus on safety, consistently upholding and modelling GMP, OHS, and quality standards.
- Hands-on experience in FMCG manufacturing, managing production lines to meet performance targets.
- Skilled in coaching and developing team members through structured training and on-the-job support.
- Confident in solving technical issues and proficient in Microsoft Office for planning and reporting.
