People Partner
Newmarket, AUK, NZ, 1023
At The Arnott’s Group, the moments we create are made by the people behind them.
From Tim Tams and Shapes to Campbell’s, V8, Vita-Weat, Scotch Finger and more, our brands have been part of everyday life for generations. Behind them is a team of people working across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, marketing, corporate functions and more; making, moving, growing and shaping the products Australians know and love.
We’re proud of our history, but we’re not here to stand still. The Arnott’s Group is building the next chapter of one of Australia’s most iconic food businesses, with a portfolio of leading consumer brands and a clear purpose: creating delicious moments.
Here, you’ll work with genuine people, solve real problems, and contribute to work that reaches millions of households. We’re looking for people who are curious, collaborative and ready to make an impact; whether that’s on the production floor, in the field, behind the scenes or leading what comes next.
If you’re looking for a place where your work feels tangible, your ideas are welcomed, and the products you help create are probably already in your pantry, you’ll find it here.
About the role
We’re looking for a People & Culture Partner based in Auckland to support our ANZ Field Sales teams, along with our New Zealand corporate and manufacturing operations.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with Field leaders across Australia and New Zealand, as well as our Newmarket corporate team (where you’ll be based) and our Avondale manufacturing site.

You’ll be comfortable working independently, with your leader based in Australia, and will bring strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation, practical employee relations experience, and the confidence to coach leaders through people matters with clarity and pace.
This role has real variety. You’ll support leader capability, employee relations, workforce planning, talent, engagement, change and local business priorities across ANZ Commercial and NZ Manufacturing. Payroll, HRIS and core people operations support are managed centrally, giving you space to focus on meaningful business partnering.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with leaders across Australia and New Zealand Field sales, NZ Corporate and manufacturing teams.
- Provide practical advice on employee relations, performance, conduct, attendance and change matters.
- Guide leaders through New Zealand employment law, industrial requirements and internal people processes.
- Build leader capability across frontline and senior leadership teams.
- Support key people programs across performance, development, wellbeing, remuneration and engagement.
- Use people data and insights to identify risks, trends and opportunities.
- Support workforce planning, talent mapping, succession planning, and change activity, connecting total ANZ workforce.
- Help connect New Zealand into the broader ANZ P&C rhythm and bring the voice of NZ into key forums.
What you’ll bring
- 3-5 years experience in HR, People & Culture or HR business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and employee relations practice, as well as sound knowledge of Australian legislation
- Desirable candidate would have experience with Commercial Sales Award - AU
- Experience supporting operational workforces, ideally across FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, retail or field sales.
- Confidence coaching leaders through performance, conduct, attendance and change-related matters.
- A practical, commercially minded approach to balancing people, risk and business outcomes.
- The ability to work independently, whilst also understanding the dependencies and key stakeholders to bring on the journey
- The ability to build relationships quickly, challenge constructively and influence across a matrix environment.
- Energy, resilience and a willingness to get stuck into the work.
