About the Role:
As Account Executive you will work closely with multiple departments to drive success in collaboration across our independent category. This entry-level role involves stakeholder interaction across marketing, category, and account teams, with a focus on reporting, analysis, and administrative support. The position offers a potential career pathway from Territory Manager to corporate roles.

What your days looks like:
- Develop, adjust, and align Gold Standard Layouts (GSL) and Metcash Retail space layouts based on innovation plans and category data.
- Own weekly Field Activations, monthly Field Leadership Team reports, joint business plan scorecards, and account team scorecards. Conduct ad hoc reporting to provide sales, marketplace, and operational insights.
- Create sell-in decks, track promotions, consolidate compliance reports, and issue retailer payment lists.
- Collate raw data, build graphs and tables, analyse results, and provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain the Account Team SharePoint resource, coordinate account team meetings (weekly, monthly, and biannual), and support planning and execution of events like the Metcash Expo and Independents Retailer Day.
The Ingredients for Success:
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Circana (Advantageous).
- Ensures accuracy and precision in all tasks, even when managing complex datasets or processes.
- Passionate about analysing business performance and delivering actionable insights to inform strategy.
- Builds strong relationships through clear communication and effective teamwork.
- A self-motivated professional who takes initiative and drives progress independently.
