Shape the future of one of Australia’s most iconic snacking categories 

 

At The Arnott’s Group, we create delicious moments every day through some of Australia’s most loved brands. We’re now looking for a commercially driven Category Manager to take ownership of a high-profile portfolio within our Biscuits business, with a likely focus on savoury (including Shapes). 

 

This is a high-impact, step-up role where you’ll combine data, commercial thinking and customer influence to shape category strategy and drive growth with major retailers. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead customer-facing category reviews, planning days and JBP forums
  • Translate shopper, scan and market data into clear, actionable insights
  • Own range, assortment and category strategy to unlock growth
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply
  • Support innovation launches – from forecasting through to post-launch evaluation
  • Identify opportunities to improve category performance, range efficiency and profitability

What You Bring

 

  • Demonstrated experience in Category Management, Category Development or similar
  • FMCG experience essential (manufacturer-side preferred)
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using shopper / scan data
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and retailers
  • Experience in forecasting, range analysis and post-launch evaluation
  • A proactive, ownership mindset – someone who takes initiative and drives outcomes
