About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for a talented E-commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team! This is a great chance for a commercially minded and digitally savvy professional to thrive. You'll collaborate within our rapidly evolving and expanding e-commerce channel, partnering closely and accelerating growth with our major omnichannel retail partner, Coles.
Ideally suited for an individual with sharp commercial business acumen and a passion for the digital realm, this role will position you at the forefront of driving our eCom growth and innovation. You'll lead and foster our partnership with Coles’ online platform.
As the e-commerce specialist, you will drive growth and innovation for Arnott's iconic brands, such as Tim Tam, Shapes, and Arnott's, across Cole's online platforms.
What your day looks like:
- Category Management
- Analyse and report on trends, performance and shopper behaviour through tools such as Coles Synergy, eStore Analytics, SimilarWeb, and Shopper Intelligence.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Account, Brand, and Category teams.
- Shape online assortment strategy and portfolio development to drive growth across channels.
- Digital Shelf Management
- Optimise Arnott’s presence across retailer platforms using the 5 P’s of Digital Shelf:
- Perfect Page – Create best-in-class on-page content.
- Placement – Maximise visibility through effective taxonomy and share of shelf.
- Price & Promotions – Support omnichannel pricing and promotional strategy.
- Product – Ensure product relevance and availability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to automate and elevate our digital touchpoints.
- Optimise Arnott’s presence across retailer platforms using the 5 P’s of Digital Shelf:
- Customer Activation
- Collaborate with key customers on an E-comm joint business plan
- Collaborate with Customer and Brand teams to deliver impactful online activations across key retailers.
- Manage on-platform media execution, including retail media placements, campaign analysis, and performance marketing.
- Help integrate brand storytelling and shopper journeys to drive conversion.
- Product Experience Management
- Manage digital product assets through PIM and DAM systems, ensuring content accuracy and shopper relevance.
- Develop engaging digital pack imagery, descriptions, and lifestyle content to enhance the online experience.
- Non-Grocery Channel Support
- Support category and account teams with range reviews, planograms, and shelf analytics.
- Assist in D2C, quick commerce, and marketplace expansion strategies.
- Deliver insights through the Power BI platform to guide commercial decisions.
The Ingredients for Success:
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
- Bachelor's in Business/Commerce
- Preferred experience in e-Com account management, commercial operations, and digital marketing experience in ecommerce
- Commercial experience in managing a group portfolio and achieving category growth online
- Digital marketing and Photoshop skills are a plus
- Passionate about driving e-comm initiatives and process improvements
- You will also possess an analytical and creative mindset, positive can-do attitude.
