At The Arnott’s Group, we’ve been creating delicious moments for generations. Today, our portfolio includes some of Australia and New Zealand’s most loved brands, and behind those brands is a business that is evolving, growing and focused on building what’s next.

This is your chance to join a business with real scale, strong heritage and the momentum to keep improving.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to navigate complex people matters with sound judgement, confidence and care. You’ll partner closely with leaders and the broader P&C team to provide expert advice across employee and industrial relations, manage casework end to end, and help drive a consistent, practical and fair approach to employment matters across the business.

You’ll be joining a business with a broad and operational workforce, which means this role will suit someone who enjoys variety, can work through nuance, and knows how to balance compliance, risk and commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage a broad range of ER matters from end to end, including investigations, grievances, misconduct, performance and disciplinary matters
  • Provide timely, practical and legally sound advice to leaders and the P&C team on employment-related issues
  • Draft high-quality correspondence, investigation materials, outcome letters and reports
  • Coach and support leaders to navigate difficult people matters with consistency, procedural fairness and confidence
  • Partner with P&C Managers and key stakeholders to ensure employee matters are managed effectively and in line with policy, legislation and business expectations
  • Identify ER trends and themes across the business and provide recommendations to strengthen capability, reduce risk and improve employee experience
  • Review and improve ER policies, templates and processes to support best practice and consistent application
  • Support the proactive management of Code of Conduct matters and partner with Compliance on complaints and investigations where required

What will make you a great fit

You’re an experienced ER practitioner who brings strong case management capability, clear judgement and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll likely bring:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and sensitive ER matters from initial assessment through to outcome
  • Strong investigation capability, including interviewing, evidence assessment, documentation and report writing
  • Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009, modern awards and enterprise agreements
  • The ability to balance legal risk, business context and people impact in the advice you provide
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, coach and build trust across different levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail, particularly in formal documentation and record keeping
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, logistics or another operational, multi-site environment will be highly regarded
Why join The Arnott’s Group?
