About the Role:
The Arnott’s Group is seeking an experienced and highly organised events manager to lead the planning and delivery of the Arnott’s Foundation annual charity gala.
This six-month part time contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings creativity to event design, and can confidently manage stakeholders, volunteers, and logistics end to end.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, this role requires close partnership with senior leaders, Procurement team, Finance team and external vendors.
What your days look like:
- Event Planning & Coordination

- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the Arnott’s Foundation annual charity gala.
- Develop event concepts, themes, creative direction, and run sheets.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue, suppliers, audiovisual, catering, entertainment, and styling.
- Oversee event branding, signage, visual elements, and storytelling moments across the gala experience.
- Stakeholder & Volunteer Management

- Liaise with internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners to ensure event alignment and approvals.
- Recruit, brief, and manage volunteers to support event setup, pack down, and on the night operations.
- Collaborate with PR, Marketing and Corporate Affairs teams as required.
- Fundraising

- Working within the leaders on sponsorship opportunities
- Coordinate the fundraising elements for the evening including the live and silent auctions by procuring prizes and generating interest
- Manage fundraising platform
- Guest & RSVP Management

- Manage ticketing platform
- Manage invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, dietary requirements, and seating plans in consultation with committee
- Manage sponsorship outreach and liaise with potential and confirmed sponsors throughout
- Coordinate VIP attendance and support with briefing notes as required
- Budget & Administration

- Manage the project budget, quotes, contracts, and vendor payments
- Maintain timelines, status reports, and event documentation
- Provide post event evaluation, reporting, and recommendations

- Proven experience delivering medium to largescale events end to end
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Creative thinker with an eye for design and styling
- Ability to balance and influence differing viewpoints and interests to achieve outcomes
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Result orientated with a can-do attitude, cheerful outlook and high levels of initiative
- Is flexible, adaptable and can deal with changes
- Experience managing volunteers or onsite event teams is highly desirable
- Passion for purpose driven events or working within the not-for-profit sector is a plus.
