About the Role:
The Head of Talent and Capability will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, and engagement of key stakeholders on the people development and capability agenda across the Arnott’s Group.
This new role will take lead on the portfolios of leadership, capability development, talent acquisition and management, performance management and employee listening - all of which are enablers to our high-performance culture. This role requires close partnership with senior leaders, people leaders and the wider People & Culture team across the Arnotts Group.
Success in this role demands strong hands on expertise across Organisational Development, Leadership Development, and Talent Acquisition & Management, with a proven capability to impact on talent and employee experience strategies.
What your days look like:
- Design and deliver an integrated talent & capability strategy aligned to current and future business priorities
- Lead a small high-performing collaborative team that drives innovation and strong execution
- Embed a comprehensive talent management framework covering identification, assessment, succession, emerging talent and high-potential programs
- Leverage market insights, best practice and data to optimise talent outcomes and investment solutions that strengthen experience, performance and retention
- Partner with business leaders and People & Culture Business Partners to enable effective workforce planning and align with internal and external sourcing strategies
- Evolve the Arnott’s Group EVP and talent acquisition approach to drive the attraction, selection and hiring of diverse, high-quality talent across the Group to successfully deliver the business strategy
- Deliver the Arnott’s Group Inclusion and Diversity commitments through practical, measurable and embedded initiatives
- Oversee enterprise learning and development solutions that build leadership, critical and core capabilities required for current and future success
- Partner with business leaders to identify current and future skill gaps, drive targeted upskilling and reskilling, and ensure capability priorities align to business strategy.

- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams with measurable outcomes
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and persuasively
