About the Role:

The National Account Executive (NAE) plays a pivotal role within our high-performing Woolworths Customer team, driving success in both customer relationships and financial performance. 

Working closely with the National Account Manager (NAM) for nutritional snacks and cereals, this position is critical in achieving the financial targets for these categories. You will also develop and nurture long-term customer partnerships, finding endless opportunities for joint growth and category success.

 

What your day looks like:

  • Along with your NAM, delivering the sales, profit and market share targets for Nutritional Snacks and Cereals categories 
  • Owning the relationships for Woolworths customer facing experience across these categories with direct points of contact, finding opportunities to build your influence and negotiation skills
  • Ownership of promotional slotting within Woolworths and Arnotts, and responsibility for the volume alignment with Woolworths, ensuring this is shared with supply chain counterparts
  • Track and report on the performance and impact of key activations, sharing insights weekly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Play a key role in range reviews, supporting the NAM, with insights, recommendations and customer management
  • Deliver actionable insights to the team using Quantium or other data to drive decision-making.

  • Eager to expand skills through involvement in non-BAU activities, projects and stretch opportunities
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills with the capability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience with data platforms such as Quantium Checkout, Synergy, IRI or, Nielson will be highly beneficial
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting data to support informed, strategic team decisions
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office software
