About the Role:

 

Reporting to the Woolworths Customer Director, the National Account Manager – Woolworths Better For You plays a critical role in delivering strategic growth to the BFY business unit.

 

This role is uniquely positioned as the portfolio is comprised of loyal brands but with hugely potential for growth in core and via innovation. The portfolio is across Breakfast, Health & Muesli Bar within Woolworths, totalling ~$70m annual RSV.

 

This role requires strong leadership, to manage stakeholders internal and external, a vision and appetite for growth, and a want to work in a collaborative hard working team environment.

 

What your days look like:

 

  • Managing both Branded and Private Label portfolios, you will be developing and implementing strategic growth plans with Woolworths
  • Key contact for Woolworths across 3 portfolios, dealing with 3 commercial teams, and also Private Label teams
  • Creating and implementing yearly business plans with key categories
  • Ownership of promotional program, instore execution plans, trade spend budgets and activation investment
  • Using Quantium data and listening to your customer needs to identify new growth opportunities, within existing and new segments
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to optimize product availability and service levels via planning, communication and forecasting
  • Key stakeholders are the customer, Woolworths team, marketing, category, finance, field team and supply chain
  • Manage and develop a National Account Executive, supporting you with systems, customer comms and day-to-day portfolio management

  • Experience managing a major national retailer, and proven success within that role
  • A collaborative leader who thrives in a fun high paced team environment
  • Strong commercial understanding, using data analysis to find win win opportunities for us and Woolworths
  • Creative problem solution, always looking for opportunities and ideas to unlock more growth
  • Experience in category or marketing within FMCG brands would also be considered
  • Excellent communication & listening skills, can build relationships quickly and is comfortable to negotiate with peers and customers
  • Loves to learn, grow and continues to find areas to improve, across processes, customer planning, in store execution or personal development
  • Experience in the Cereal, Nutritional Snacks, or Health categories is a benefit.
