Create delicious moments, behind the scenes too
At The Arnott’s Group, we make some of Australia’s most loved brands. For more than 160 years, our products have been part of everyday moments in homes across the country, and today we continue to evolve, grow and build for the future.

We’re looking for a P&C Operations Lead to join us on a 12-month max-term contract and play a key role in keeping our People & Culture operations running smoothly, accurately and confidently.
This is a role for someone who loves bringing order to complexity. Someone who sees broken process and wants to fix it. Someone who knows that great people experiences are built on strong systems, reliable data, responsive support and operational discipline.

You’ll join a P&C team that is focused on building stronger foundations, improving ways of working and making it easier for our people and leaders to get what they need.

The Opportunity
This role sits at the centre of our People & Culture operations.

You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of core people processes, help strengthen our systems and reporting, and make sure the fundamentals are in place across the employee lifecycle. You’ll also work closely with leaders and the broader P&C team to improve how things get done.

This is not a “keep things ticking over” role.

We’re looking for someone who can step in, get across what is working and what is not, and help lift capability, consistency and accountability across P&C operations.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading day-to-day P&C operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes and core people administration
  • Making sure our people data is accurate, timely and reliable across systems, with a strong focus on detail and data integrity
  • Owning and improving HR processes so they are clear, efficient, compliant and scalable
  • Working closely with Payroll and key internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, accurate and well-coordinated delivery
  • Supporting reporting and insights that help P&C and business leaders make better decisions
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for operational queries, with sound judgement, professionalism and care
  • Identifying issues, gaps or friction points and taking practical action to improve them
  • Contributing to broader P&C priorities and projects where operational input and follow-through are critical
  • Helping create a more consistent and positive employee experience through strong execution and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring:
  • Solid experience in People Operations, HR Operations or P&C Operations
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems, processes and people data
  • Experience using an HRIS, ideally SuccessFactors or other Tier 1 HRIS'
  • Confidence managing operational detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • A practical process-improvement mindset - you do not just identify problems, you work through them
  • Strong judgement and discretion when working with sensitive information
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A high standard of personal accountability and follow-through

What will help you thrive here:
  • You bring a sense of pace and ownership to your work
  • You are naturally organised and know how to create structure where there is ambiguity
  • You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail
  • You are solutions-focused and not easily thrown when things are messy
  • You build trust quickly and work well across different personalities and styles
  • You care about doing things properly, but you are not precious about how to get there
