The Opportunity

At The Arnott's Group, an iconic Australian powerhouse brand and FMCG pioneer, we offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate, experienced, and creative Social Media & Content Specialist to join our team, report to our Social Media & Content Manager, and help shape our legacy by implementing social media executional plans for our renowned brands - Arnott’s & Tim Tam.

 

The Accountabilities

  • Develop strategic social approaches for key campaigns, collaborating with PR, Digital, and Ecommerce teams.
  • Manage end-to-end social content plans for Arnott’s, Tim Tam, and iconic brands like Wagon Wheels.
  • Shoot and produce trending social-first content for TikTok, as well create insight-driven content for Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, coordinating with our in-house social producer.
  • Handle content calendar management, scheduling, copywriting, and support event coverage and content production.
  • Oversee paid influencer campaigns and social media budgets, including campaign implementation and budget allocation.
  • Use social listening insights to create reactive content, analyze social media results, and present insights and results to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and collaborate with Marketing, PR, Ecommerce, Corporate Communications, and Customer Experience teams.

 

 

The Ingredients for Success

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, using social media to drive impressions and engagement
  • Passionate about social media and content creation, with ability to edit video content
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders, seniority levels, and teams, with the ability to tell a compelling story through presentations
  • Strong analytical capabilities in assessing content performance, industry reports, and social listening data
  • Experience utilizing social management MarTech such as Social Sprout for social listening and analyzing content performance would be an advantage
