Maintenance Coordinator

A new exciting opportunity exists in our Shepparton Factory for a Maintenance Coordinator. Our manufacturing facility in Shepparton is the only Campbell's plant in Australia, established in 1962. We have six production lines that involve PET, Aseptic and canning processes. We operate 24 hours per day, 5 days per week, with weekend shifts dependent on production requirements. Our production volume delivers to the Australian market as well as being exported to parts of Asia.

 

We are looking for a transformational leader with creative strategies to develop our planned maintenance schedule whilst focussing on safety, service-orientation, cross-functional collaboration, and team cohesion. It is about taking people on the journey…..

 

You will

  • Coordinate and supervise the site maintenance team to deliver the preventative maintenance program whilst managing contracted specialist and overflow service providers to ensure the timely correction of defects.
  • Work with the Manufacturing Operations Manager to establish the plant requirements, work schedules, equipment layout and production methods.
  • Ensure all areas of the plant operate efficiently.
  • Revise and improve the planned maintenance system, identifying opportunities for improvement in plant reliability, performance and change over time reduction based on observation, experience and statistical review of breakdown events.
  • Implement personnel performance management measures, including performance feedback and performance management for maintainers.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have a technical background (Mechanical or Electrical), a knowledge of SAP or a similar platform and proven planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment. You will have the ability to stand back to organise and set strategy and KPI's to ensure the team's overall success.
