Are you passionate about safety with a keen eye for detail, looking to progress your career with an iconic company? We currently have a vacancy for a part time HSE Administrator to continue to develop the Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems of our business. 
In this flexible part-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring our HSE systems are maintained and are continually evolving to meet legal obligations and the needs of the business. 
 

Reporting to the HSE Manager (Brisbane), your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Maintaining our established systems such as myOSH, ChemWatch and Rapid Global 
  • Providing support and guidance for users of our systems
  • Support the development and implementation of our annual audits and HSE Improvement Plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Reviewing the SafetyOne program in consultation with the broader HSE team
  • Developing HSE training packages for the use of our teams across Australia.
  • Working in with a fantastic team of HSE professionals across the entire Arnotts Group network.   
  • Support the coordination and completion of the internal audit verification program
  • Your ability to self-manage, plan, coordinate and communicate will be key in this role, you will have a keen attention to detail and a good knowledge of health and safety legislation.

 

What ingredients do you need to be successful?
 

  • Organised, self-motivated, keen attention to detail
  • Experience with software programs is essential
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Ability to interpret legislation, codes of practice and Australian Standards and apply requirements to practical situations
  • Good understanding of HSE Management systems is essential
  • An individual who has a Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Able to work autonomously as this role can be done remotely
