The Opportunity:
Exciting opportunity for a DAY Shift Machine Operators at Arnott's Virginia. This is a perfect role for someone who has the competency to operate machinery working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Be a part of a biscuit manufacturing production line creating some of Arnott’s favourite products through mixing, forming, baking and packaging processes. If you thrive on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems this role is for you.
The Accountabilities:
- Set up, changeovers, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott's OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards
- Completion of quality control checks online
- Perform process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards.
- Work autonomously and as team member to deliver daily production requirements against performance criteria
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- Previous automated machine operating experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines and problem solve the quality attributes of our products
- Understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles in a food manufacturing environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request
