About the Role:
This role will be responsible for ensuring the assets are well maintained. The role will require the incumbent to plan all preventative maintenance activities, and this will enable the best plant and equipment. Additionally, by this the role will then influence and extend the assets life and ensure maximum value is attained. ‘corrective maintenance’ .It is expected that the person performing this role will lead by example and demonstrate open and positive engagement in all their interactions across the site.

What your days looks like:
- Ensure that safety and quality are top priorities for all planned works.
- Coordinate a weekly meeting involving the trades and operational teams to determine what impacts will be present on the day of works.
- A weekly schedule will be produced and issued at the commencement of the week as well as the commencement of the weekend.
- Build a plan for all shutdown works and identify the key components of success in each shutdown.
- Completion rate of the scheduled works should be in the order of 90% for the whole week. When not achieved a root cause analysis or understanding of why it was not achieved needs to occur.
- Additional works need to be captured in a new work order.
- Actively engage with the wider maintenance and site team to identify opportunities to schedule and complete jobs as efficiently as possible.
- Identify opportunities to replace, redesign or re-engineer plant to eliminate repetitive failures and/or improve performance or processes.
- Comply with all Arnott’s Group standards, policies, and SOPs.
- Support a positive workplace culture.
The Ingredients for Success:
- Trade or engineering qualification
- Experience in planning is required
- Understanding of plant processing that will support the team for trends in performance improvements with maintenance completion
- Achieving results as demonstrated through key operational and maintenance metrics.
- Demonstrated coaching skills
