A great opportunity is available for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team in Virginia, Qld.  You will be responsible for the delivery of operational People & Culture support and guidance to site leader; supporting the delivery of the People & Culture Strategic Plan to the site.   In addition, you will also enjoy being a trusted business partner to Manufacturing Managers, Team leaders, future leaders and team members by providing commercially considered guidance and advice to leaders for individual performance and conduct matters, including development of management strategies, writing letters, appropriate recording of documentation, compliance with the key principles of procedural fairness and natural justice and preparing responses to Unfair Dismissal claims.

 

  • Guide leaders in compliance with the relevant industrial tools (Awards & Enterprise Agreement) and applicable legislation.
  • Support Enterprise Bargaining preparation, analysis and negotiations and support processes to manage industrial disputation.
  • Deliver processing and analyses of complex HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
  • Review, update and improve People and Culture procedures and processes to maintain alignment with current legislation, industry or company changes.
  • Engage with leaders to provide support and guidance to achieve key requirements, outcomes.
  • Support the Graduate program across client groups

 

Ingredients for Success

 

The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience working in a People & Culture/HR role in a manufacturing environment, has highly effective engagement and communication skills, can convey a clear understanding of complex matters to leaders on site and has the ability to plan and prioritise high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Some exposure to Industrial Relations (ability to interpret and apply Awards and Enterprise Agreements) will be highly regarded. You will also be comfortable conducting targeted research into appropriate solutions, has experience in supporting organisational change processes and the delivery of People and Culture projects and has sound knowledge of navigating HR systems to get HR data analytics and insights.
