Are you ready to take your payroll career to the next level? The Arnott’s Group is on the lookout for a driven and detail-savvy payroll professional to join our team full-time and permanently at our vibrant Virginia factory—one of the powerhouses behind our operations!

In this dynamic role, you’ll play a vital part in a supportive and high-performing team, making a real impact across our 600-strong workforce. From smooth weekly and fortnightly pay runs to being a trusted go-to for all things payroll, your expertise will help fuel a thriving, people-first workplace culture.

What Your Day Looks Like:

 

  • Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and Fair Work requirements.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding payroll tasks, including complex termination calculations and estimates with confidence.
  • Oversee and report on statutory obligations like superannuation, workers’ compensation, and other compliance duties.
  • Partner with employees, leaders, and the People & Culture team to swiftly resolve payroll queries and provide expert guidance.

 

The Ingredients for Success:

 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to run weekly payroll for a workforce of 600+ employees across diverse employment groups
  • Strong working knowledge of Preceda and Kronos, plus intermediate Excel skills
  • Deep understanding of employment legislation and payroll compliance, with a talent for interpreting Enterprise Agreements
  • A natural collaborator who communicates clearly, influences effectively, and builds trust with stakeholders at all levels
