About the Role:

 

Are you ready to take the next step in your payroll career? The Arnott’s Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional to join our team full-time, onsite at our Virginia manufacturing plant.

 

In this critical role, you’ll be a key part of a high-performing, supportive team—driving seamless weekly and fortnightly pay runs and serving as a trusted expert across all payroll matters for our 600-strong workforce. Your expertise will help foster a smooth, compliant, and people-first workplace.

Please note: This is an onsite role based at our Virginia site. As part of our WHS standards, you’ll be provided with a uniform and required to follow our no-jewellery policy while on site.

What Your Day Looks Like:

 

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing with precision and compliance across multiple pay cycles
  • Handle onboarding, offboarding, and complex termination calculations with confidence
  • Ensure accurate reporting of statutory obligations such as superannuation and workers’ compensation
  • Partner with leaders, employees, and the People & Culture team to resolve payroll queries
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and Fair Work compliance

 

The Ingredients for Success:

 

  • 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Proven ability to manage payroll for 600+ employees across varied employment types
  • Strong knowledge of Preceda and Kronos, with solid Excel capabilities
  • In-depth understanding of payroll legislation and Award interpretation
  • A clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
