HW Fitter Day Shift

About the Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all mechanical equipment and systems across the facility. This includes fault finding, planned corrective maintenance, breakdown response, preventive maintenance activities, and supporting reliability improvement initiatives. 

This role plays a critical role in site reliability, asset performance, and operational uptime, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Safety, Quality, and Production teams.

What your days look like:

• Complete planned and preventative maintenance activities to keep equipment operating safely, efficiently and reliably.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime and support production targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and site projects that enhance equipment performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP, manage spare parts inventory and support maintenance reporting and documentation.

The Ingredients for Success:

• Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification 
• Experience in FMCG or automated manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• SAP PM experience advantageous
